Canadian Journal of Psychoanalysis
Available Volumes

The PEP Archive contains the full-text content of all of the volumes above. Due to contracts with the publishers, there is a three year moving wall (embargo of current articles) for most journals. You can browse the tables of contents up through the current issue, and searches include the complete text of the articles, but only the titles and abstracts (or summaries) will be displayed for articles from 2022 and newer. For details on how to read the full text of 2022 and more current articles see the publishers official website here.

(English and French; 1993-current)

Since 1990 the Canadian Journal of Psychoanalysis (CJP) is published twice yearly by the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society. In addition to clinical and theoretical papers, CJP accepts contributions in related areas of scientific and humanistic interest, including outcome and technique research, reports on systematic observation of the analytic process, papers related to professional ethics, the history of psychoanalysis, and psychoanalytically-inspired studies of culture, society, and the arts.

Canadian psychoanalytic culture has deep roots in French, British, American, and Latin American psychoanalytic traditions. CJP serves as a unique nexus of scholarly exchange between diverse groups of analysts in North America, Latin America, and Europe. Reflecting the Canadian linguistic identity, the CJP publishes papers in both French and English.
