(English; 2020-current)

The International Journal of Controversial Discussions is an independent journal not affiliated with any national or international organization. The journal takes on controversial topics and offers a forum for discussions between colleagues who specifically do not think alike. The intention is to create a village square for discussion and debate about controversial issues within psychoanalysis.

The journal is not peer reviewed in the usual sense. The IJCD model is that papers that are well written and well reasoned are published and responded to publicly by a discussant with similar interests. The author is then given the opportunity to respond.

The IJCD does not have any theoretical or ideological bias and casts a wide net including contributors from many disciplines and many geographical locations. It considers a broad array of subjects of interest to mental health professionals.

The International Journal of Controversial Discussions is an Open Access journal. See the publishers official website here.
