Progress in Self Psychology helped to shape the theoretical and clinical agenda of self psychology in the decades following Kohut's death. As a journal it bears the imprint of Kohut while charting a course of theoretical and clinical growth in the post-Kohut era. An annual volume that included the best of conferences in the field along with selected papers from as wide a source as possible.
