This article employs Albert Camus’ concept of “absurdity” in illuminating dyadic processes that can become alienating to analysts, leading to an uncanny estrangement from patients, processes, or even theories.
This vignette serves as an analytic example of what the writer Albert Camus (1913–1960) referred to as “absurdity,” our human encounter with what Ben Stolorow and Robert Stolorow (2011) called the “absurdity of our finite, mortal existence” (“The Role of Lyrics” section, para. 2).

Summary*
«The stranger» by Albert Camus or behavior neurosis
Using the novel The stranger by Albert Camus as if it were a clinical case, tries to demonstrate two hypothesis; first, that neurosis of behavior is really a psichosis by deficit second, that in neurosis of behavior, the subjects are hiperadapted to their environment.
LIV, No. 4, 1967Albert Camus: Another Will for Death. Richard Geha, Jr.
The four plays written by Albert Camus were unsuccessful but they reveal the preoccupation of Camus with destiny, sadism, and death in the face of unpleasant reality (termed absurdity by Camus).
