Psychoanalysis and Contemporary Thought aims at broadening the scientific and intellectual horizon of psychoanalysis. To that end it publishes original clinical, theoretical, experimental, and qualitative contributions to psychoanalysis, especially interdisciplinary studies integrating psychoanalysis with the social, biological, and the behavioral sciences and the humanities. The journal is also open to publications of critical surveys of the literature and special book reviews that evaluate several contemporary books within a topical area of psychoanalytic interest.
