Reissue in book form of the Spring-Summer 1964 issue of American Imago (Volume 21, Numbers 1-2). The central feature of the volume is the classic study by Otto Rank and Hanns Sachs on “The Significance of Psychoanalysis for the Humanities” which has long been out of print. The Symposium includes shorter papers on the same theme by Bronson Feldman, Benjamin B. Wolman, Harry Slochower and Ludwig Eidelberg.
