The Board of Trustees met ten times during the academic year of 1961-1962; part of one meeting included the members of the Faculty Council. In addition, there were two Membership Meetings. This year the Dean's Reception was held at Longchamps and was considered unusually successful.

The Board approved a plan submitted to it by the Medical Board of the Karen Horney Clinic to remunerate doctors, at the rate of $10.00 per hour, who donated more than three hours a week to the clinic.
