The officers for 1966-1967 were:
President: David Shainberg, M.D.
Vice President: Joseph R. Buchanan, M.D.
Secretary: Milton Lee, M.D.
Treasurer: Eugene Papowitz, M.D.
Junior Counselor: K. Eileen Hite, M.D.
Senior Counselor: Marie R. Apolito, M.D.
This was a very active and enthusiastic year for the Candidates Association. Attendance at all meetings was exceptionally high, averaging
over 75 percent of the membership. There was a constant high level of interest in all the activities throughout the year.
A committee of candidates met over coffee with the students of the two Orientation Courses. The purpose was to stimulate further discussion and interest in Horney's Theory of Neurosis. Everyone felt it was a valuable feedback on the assets and deficiencies of the courses as well as being an exciting interchange of ideas.
