To the Editor:
Representing the three organizations which constitute the Horney group, we wish to express to you our pleasure in the new direction which you and your Editorial Board have taken in The American Journal of Psychoanalysis. We noted in Vol. 30, No. 1 several innovations for which we want to express our particular appreciation. The formation of an Editorial Committee has brought the talents of four more creative people to the Journal. We are happy to see that you were able to involve three outstanding members of the psychiatric and psychoanalytic community in the work of the Journal through the creation of an Advisory Committee. We feel certain this new direction will result in more fruitful dissemination of the psychoanalytic approach to human problems.
