The Karen Horney Clinic continues to function with its various programs of treatment, training and research in the fields of Mental Health and Mental Illness. The candidates of the American Institute for Psychoanalysis are receiving further training in the Clinic, and their work with clinic patients is supervised by the Faculty of the Institute. We continue to fulfill the requirements of the high standards of psychoanalytic work, and at the same time continue to offer the community, as we have done throughout our entire history, a variety of services.

The Karen Horney Clinic continues to offer Fellowship-Scholarship Grants for candidates to aid them in their training at the Institute, as well as to make it possible to increase our medical staff for further treatment of our patients. Eight new candidates have been accepted in this past year, of which seven were granted a Karen Horney Clinic Fellowship-Scholarship. It is anticipated that we will receive additional candidates who will be provided Fellowships.
