RACISM finds expression in multi-varied forms. If one accepts the hypothesis—for which there is substantial experience—that prejudice based upon race is pervasive, then one must perforce not be shocked at its manifestations in psychiatry. Shocked or not, bias among men of science is distressing. We live with echoes yet resounding from the fraudulent sanction of “scientific” racism emanating from Nazi Germany.
