Charles R. Hulbeck, M.D., who had been living in Switzerland, passed away on April 20, 1974. He was born in Germany on April 23, 1892, and came to this country in the mid-30s, having been made stateless with the advent of the Nazi regime. An old friend, he was a creative contributor to our system of thought, a loyal supporter of our search in progress. We shall miss his useful approach to the enigma of our existence and his stimulating interest in the psychology of man, art, literature, and the humanities at large.
