The December 1994 issue of the Journal (vol. 54, no. 4) reported on the scientific presentation by Theodore J. Jacobs, M.D, “Impasse and Progress in Analysis: On Working Through and Its Vicissitudes in Patient and Analyst.” In the interests of historical accuracy and to acknowledge the purpose of the meeting, it should be noted that the presentation was the Forty-First Annual Karen Horney Memorial Lecture.
