With this issue, we are delighted to add this new series to Visions of the Self and Voice of the Analyst as ongoing Journal sections. Brief Communications will publish pieces that are neither responses to current papers nor full-length research papers. We invite the readership to submit brief theoretical and/or clinical pieces about ideas that the author has found particularly salient or useful in her/his own work.
