This article describes the use of a model designed to facilitate productive conversations and links this model to concepts from attachment theory. The model sets out four key positions on the axes of advocacy and enquiry. Case studies are used to describe the practical application of the model in three different situations: a team of project managers, a management team, and a group of teenagers. The article also gives practical tips on how to use the model in a workshop setting.
