She specialises in trauma therapy, body oriented and group therapy. She is a member of the ESTD and ISSTD, and became an ISSTD Fellow in 2011. She is the co-founder and director of the Trauma-Institute-Leipzig together with her husband and they have developed the treatment model SPIM-30 for the past thirteen years.
