In this sensitive and humorous piece, the author is interacting in her imagination with the famous British artist J. M. W. Turner to explore his personal and creative life through an attachment lens. In the course of this journey she discovers that her lifelong love for the artist's paintings links into to her own attachment trauma and loss. She wrote this while a participant on the attachment short course at The Bowlby Centre in London.
