Funeral Singer

Poet and writer as well as a retired child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapist and adult psychoanalyst. She has specialised in trauma and disability for forty years. She is the founder and patron for the Clinic for Dissociative Studies, UK; president of the Institute for Psychotherapy and Disability; and is on the board of the ISSTD. Her latest books are The Truth About Trauma and Dissociation : Everything You Didn't Want to Know and Were Afraid to Ask (Confer, 2020, Winner of the Frank Putnam award) and Trauma and Memory: The Science and the Silenced (co-authored with A. Conway, Routledge, 2021).
