EM-PSYCH is a new computer software database management program originally developed and designed for the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute. The program provides a mechanism for easy tracking of student/candidate progression. It affords ready access to all records of students, supervisors, and advisors, and generates schedules and form letters informing them of deadlines.

It can be modified for different scheduling intervals according to the specific organizational need. A review schedule for monitoring student progression every six months is an optional feature that may not be needed by some programs and can easily be adapted for other training programs with different periods of review.
