Choosing works to be published, helping authors express themselves effectively, and assembling manuscripts, commentaries, book reviews, and essays into cohesive and evocative journal issues is a creative and challenging enterprise. Our editorial board members, in joining the scholarly discourse of our field, are in a privileged position that I hope more than adequately compensates for the hundreds of hours they contribute during their three-year terms on our board. Working with the journal board has been among the major pleasures of my tenure as editor.
It is time to say good-bye and thank you to outgoing board members Stanley Coen, Daniel Jacobs, Anton Kris, and Donald Moss, and to editorial associates Sarah Ackerman, Ephi Betan, William Glover, and Jeffrey Stern. We will miss each of them and look forward to working with them again in the future.
Welcome to new board members Silvia Bell, Deborah Cabaniss, Melvin Lansky, Howard Levine, Jennifer Stuart, and Mitchell Wilson, and to new associates Daria Colombo, J. Timothy Davis, Zenobia Grusky, and Kevin Kelly. They bring rich interests and experience to JAPA. Readers can rest assured that what they read in our pages has passed through the hands and minds of gifted scholars, teachers, and clinicians dedicated to the best in psychoanalysis.
