I wish to thank those who have given so generously of their time as Editorial Board members from January 1, 2008, through December 31, 2010. This outgoing group—Elizabeth Auchincloss, Adrienne Harris, Kenneth Levy, Eric Neutzel, Joel Whitebook, and Judith Yanof—have demonstrated their dedication, generativity, and creative engagement with authors, each contributing an enormous amount of impressive work on behalf of the journal. I hope they all found their work with JAPA intellectually and personally rewarding and that we may collaborate again in the future.
Welcome to the following new Editorial Board members, whose terms run from January 1, 2011, through December 31, 2013, though in fact they have all been hard at work since last summer: Ken Corbett, Alexandra Harrison, Jonathan House, Howard Katz, Christine C. Kieffer, and Isaac Tylim. I trust they are enjoying their work with JAPA.
I would like to thank Phyllis Tyson, whose tenure as Associate Editor for Child Analysis and Development came to a close on December 31, 2010. Phyllis's insights and scholarly contributions to this section of JAPA have been outstanding. Lee I. Ascherman succeeded her in this position on January 1. I look forward to working with him. Bonnie Litowitz has stepped down as Associate Editor for Theory and Interdisciplinary Studies, having served throughout my term as Editor and part of that of my predecessor, Arnold Richards. I have depended on Bonnie for help in innumerable contexts. She has always provided me scholarly insight and collegial support and has assisted a host of authors in bringing their contributions to the high level of scholarship and prose that JAPA is known for. I will miss her greatly. Ellen Rees assumes Bonnie's duties, beginning her term as Associate Editor on March 1.
