The following corrections should be made to the article, Linkage of Oedipal Dangers and Mastery to Theodor Herzl's Zionism by Marvin G. Brook in Vol. 4, No. 2, April 2002. On p. 179, the sentence which reads: “In Old-Newland, the character Lowenberg presents Herzl; reasons for that view were represented earlier.” should read: “In Old-Newland, the character Lowenberg represents Herzl; reasons for that view were presented earlier.” On p. 182, the sentence which reads: “It is only upon reaching a position of honor manliness and self-destruction, as shown in the novel, that Herzl is able to shed his guilt regarding Kana, i.e., exorcize his ghost.” should read: “It is only upon reaching a position of honor, manliness, and reconciliation, as shown in the novel, that Herzl is able to shed his guilt regarding Kana, i.e., exorcize his ghost.”
