This is the last issue to be published under the Editorship of Joseph Sandler who has now started his duties as Sigmund Freud Professor of Psychoanalysis at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. We are indebted to Professor Sandler for having launched the Bulletin two years ago and for having brought his considerable experience as an Editor to this new venture. On behalf of the Editorial Committee I would like to convey an expression of gratitude to him for all the work he has done for the Bulletin during his two years as Editor.
As the new Editor I will endeavour to maintain the standards of my predecessor. Inevitably there will be some changes which will reflect our aim to provide a more representative cross-section of the work carried out at the Hampstead Clinic in many different areas, both present and past. At the same time, the Bulletin will receive a new look and we will make every effort to despatch it to subscribers at regular quarterly intervals. We are also planning to introduce some new features which will, we hope, enrich the content of the Bulletin.
I am happy to say that the Editorial Committee will remain virtually unchanged and it is a great pleasure to welcome Mrs Frances Salo as a new member of the Committee.
