The delusion of persecution by a member of the opposite sex in schizophrenic and paranoid psychoses. Brit. J. Clin. & Social Psychiatry, Vol. I.

Positive and negative schizophrenic symptoms. Brit. J. Psychiatry, Vol. 140.
Schizophrenic symptoms can be divided into positive and negative. The negative symptoms consist in the loss of developmental achievements which enable the individual to adapt to his environment in a purposeful and satisfying manner. These losses are the precondition for the appearance of the positive symptoms—the delusions, hallucinations, etc.
