The Trustees of the Anna Freud Centre take great pleasure in announcing that Mr Philip Granville has provided a most generous endowment for the psychoanalytic treatment of adolescents and young adults at the Centre, from the proceeds of the sale of his exceptional collection of original posters to Suntory Ltd. in Japan. Mr Granville chose the Anna Freud Centre to be the object of his benefaction as a result of the inspiration of his father, who was a distinguished French psychiatrist, and also of Dr Daniel Lagache, and Dr Elizabeth Lobl. Mr Granville's gift will enable us to extend our existing services in the direction of disturbed adolescents and young adults and thereby also expand our knowledge concerning the relationship between child and adult psychopathology.
Mr Granville's gift to the Centre will provide up to ninety percent of the cost of treatment for patients between the ages of 15 and 34. We are therefore pleased to welcome referrals for assessment with a view to full psychoanalytic treatment from colleagues in Britain.
