This important book, written with force and sensitivity, deals with the subject of injustice through three fascinating if disturbing examples. The first concerns the notorious case of Dr Elizabeth Morgan, the second deals with Jung's traducement of Freud over his alleged affair with his sister-in-law, and the third, very courageously, considers the allegations made against the author in respect of the Freud Archives. All the examples are indeed instances, since the sad waywardness that informs all human beings is the broader issue behind the fascinating stories themselves.
