The Argentine Society of Medical Psychology and Psychoanalysis, an affiliate of the Argentine Medical Association, held its first meeting on July 5, 1940. Prof. Juan Ramon Beltran, professor of the history of medicine, is president of the new society.
Prof. Gonzalo Bosch delivered a lecture on the significance of psychology and psychoanalysis in present day medicine.
