It is with deep sorrow that we report the death of our Executive Secretary, John McVeigh, on January 14, 1959. We of the Journal will especially miss him for his unstinting and devoted assistance from the very inception of the Journal throughout its subsequent years of development. He will be memorialized in one of the forthcoming issues of the Journal. Many members have expressed their wish to commemorate Mr. McVeigh. Mrs. McVeigh had requested at the time of the funeral that no flowers be sent but that if anybody wished to contribute anything, they could do so by sending their contribution to the Building Fund of the Friends Meeting, Attention: Mr. Ralph Child, Earhart Road, Pearl River, New York.
