The Annual Meetings of the American Psychoanalytic Association were held at the Chase-Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri, May 5-6, 1963. An abstract of a draft of the Minutes of the Business Meeting of Members including the reports of the Secretary of the Executive Council and of the Secretary of the Board on Professional Standards, as well as other transactions, are published in this issue of the Bulletin. All members who desire to obtain copies of the official Minutes of any of these bodies may do so by communicating with the Executive Secretary, Mrs. Helen Fischer, 1 East 57 Street, New York 22, New York.
The Business Meeting of Members was held at the Chase-Park Plaza Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri on Sunday, May 5, 1963, with Dr. Grete Bibring, the outgoing President and Dr. David Beres, the incoming President, presiding. Dr. Heinz Kohut was the outgoing Secretary and Dr. A. Russell Anderson the incoming Secretary.
The Executive Council met on Thursday, May 2, 1963, at 9:30 A. M. After the Meeting was opened by the President, Dr. Grete L. Bibring, and the Minutes of the Council Meeting of December 6, 1962 had been approved, the Secretary of the Board on Professional Standards, Dr. M. Royden C. Astley, gave his report.
