The 82nd Annual Meeting of the American Psychoanalytic Association was held at the San Francisco Hilton and Towers Hotel, San Francisco, California, May 19–23, 1993. An abstract of the Business Meeting of Members, including reports of the Secretary of the Executive Council, the Treasurer of the Association, the Secretary of the Board on Professional Standards, and the Chairman of the Fund for Psychoanalytic Research is published in this issue of the Bulletin. Members who desire to obtain copies of the minutes, including committee reports, may do so by communicating with the Administrative Director, Mrs. Helen Fischer, 309 East 49th Street, New York, NY 10017.
The Business Meeting of Members was held on Friday, May 21, 1993, at 11:00 A.M. with Dr. Bernard L. Pacella, President, officiating and Dr. Donald I. Meyers, as Secretary.
Dr. Bernard L. Pacella, President, opened the meeting and introduced his fellow officers: Dr. Donald I. Meyers, Secretary of the Executive Council; Dr. Stephen K. Firestein, Treasurer; Dr. Marvin Margolis, Chairman of the Board on Professional Standards; and Dr. Owen Renik, Secretary of the Board on Professional Standards; and the incoming Secretary of the Association, Dr. David Hurst.
A motion was made, seconded, and carried to approve the Minutes of the December 18, 1992, Meeting of Members as published.
