a.Dr. L. Pierce Clark: The Phantasy Method of Analysing Narcissistic Neuroses.
This paper dealt with an innovation in psycho-analytic technique adapted particularly for the treatment of the narcissistic neuroses. Dr. Clark supplemented his paper with the presentation of opinions expressed by a number of psycho-analysts who discussed his views at the last International Psycho-analytic Congress. A brief abstract of Dr. Clark's thesis appeared in the INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF PSYCHO-ANALYSIS, Volume VII., Part 1, January, 1926, p. 124.
b.Dr. Adolph Stern: Clinical Note on a Case of Anxiety-Hysteria.
For the first six weeks of analysis the patient in Dr. Stern's case seemed to present material dealing solely with the pre-oedipus level. Dr. Stern requested the opinion of other members as to the frequency of such a situation. Several expressed opinions that such occurrences were not uncommon.
At the business session a resolution on the death of Dr. Karl Abraham of Berlin was submitted by Dr. S. E. Jelliffe and unanimously adopted by the Society.
The following officers were elected for the year 1926.
