The Committee on the Constitution and Byelaws of the IPA, Chairman Dr Jerome S. Beigler, Chicago, has formulated a number of proposed Amendments to the Constitution and Byelaws of the IPA. These are described in the following communication from Dr Beigler, which is self-explanatory.
These proposed Amendments will be discussed during the Business Meeting of the IPA to be held in Hamburg on Wednesday 31 July 1985, and submitted to a mail ballot of all full Members thereafter. If approved, they will be incorporated into the Constitution and Byelaws as at the date set for the return of ballots late in 1985.
MOSES LAUFER, Ph.D.

Proposed Amendment I:
Article 4 of the Constitution: Location of the Association
As all Members are aware, the IPA is in process of acquiring a property for its permanent headquarters. The principal office of the Association shall be located in the country of the President. In addition there may be a permanent office whose location shall be determined by the Council of the Association. The Association shall have the power to purchase, take on lease or otherwise acquire land or premises in any country where it shall maintain or propose to establish an office, and to sell, let, assign or otherwise dispose of such land or premises.
Proposed Amendment II:
