The Meeting of the Presidents of IPA Member Societies and Study Groups with the President and Secretary of the IPA was held at the Casa Piedra Convention Centre, Santiago, Chile on Sunday 25 July 1999 from 14.00–18.00. Dr Kernberg welcomed the Presidents to the meeting and briefly gave the floor to Dr Monette to read a short open letter from the House of Delegates to the Presidents.
