Dear Sir
Can I draw your attention to the news that a new library specialising in psychotherapy and counselling is being established to serve the professional community. It is hoped that the new library will be particularly helpful to training organisations, none of which can, on their own, provide the resources for a truly comprehensive and professional psychotherapy library. As the success of this project will strongly depend upon the involvement of individuals and organisations within the field of psychotherapy, I would be most interested to hear from readers of the British Journal of Psychotherapy.
Regent's College has announced the opening of this new library, Regent's College Library of Psychotherapy and Counselling, dedicated to the fields of psychotherapy and counselling.
It has long been recognised that there is a need for a central reference library of this type which is accessible to members of the professional community as well as to interested members of the public. Regent's College is now offering its distinguished premises, facilities and professional staff to create a sound, effective and centralised resource centre.
The benefits for all involved will include:
An easily accessible and central location with parking facilities five minutes' walk from Baker Street underground station and well served by London buses
A quiet academic environment located in beautiful Regent's Park
Experienced professional staff
A fully computerised cataloguing system
