The British Journal of Psychotherapy was approached by Harriet Meek from Chicago, who is interested in the form and purpose of the clinical commentary, and also in making links between the United States and Britain, having worked at the Tavistock Clinic for a year herself. There are two American commentaries on the original clinical material, and a third by a British post-Kleinian psychotherapist. The format of this clinical commentary has been altered at the request of the Americans to include the name of the original clinician.
