This is an extremely interesting and thought-provoking account of a piece of clinical work, which includes aspects of practice that are important especially when working with a group of family members together in the room. The clinicians are to be commended for presenting this piece of work which, they say, is a relatively new area for them, and for commenting on some of the issues that were happening in their relationship as therapists.
The use of group analytic thinking as a tool for working with family relationships is an interesting one. It seems to facilitate the analysis of processes in the room in ways which allow the therapists to make meanings that eventually seemed to be useful
