This clinical material is presented in an unadorned style, devoid of emotion, and perhaps reflects the speech patterns of the patient. I selected the commentators on the grounds that one came from a school of thinking which emphasized organizations, although they describe their contribution as that of a Kleinian. Another commentator was chosen to give a developmental view from a child psychoanalytic perspective. The third was a Jungian because the clinician particularly asked for this point of view, regarding it as different from her own.
