Psychoanalyst in private practice in Frankfurt am Main (DPV/IPA). She has been co-editor of the German Journal Forum der Psychoanalyse since 2006. She was a member of the research committees of the IPA: Committee on Conceptual Research (2001-2009), and since 2009 has been a member of the IPA Committee on Clinical Research. Since 2013 she has been a member of the European task force of the IPA's Encyclopedic Dictionary. She has published on the fundamentals of research in psychoanalysis, on clinical and conceptual research, and on central clinical concepts such as psychic trauma, transference and interpretation.
