Two Spoken Word Poems: Brexit/Grenfell

Spoken word poet, playwright and performer. She was a Member of The Royal Court writers group and a Resident Artist at the Roundhouse, London in 2017-18. Her poetry has been performed around the UK at venues such as the Shaftesbury Theatre in London, The North Wall in Oxford, and the Royal Court and Camden People's Theatre in London. She has devised full-length shows for the Roundhouse, Edinburgh Fringe, and Etcetera Theatre in London. She also works as a teacher and mentor in a pupil referral unit in Hackney. Her work is politically fuelled, informed and inspired by her diverse upbringing and involvement in Hip Hop Education. She toured her solo poetry and theatre show ITCH in 2018 and is available for future bookings.
