This book is the latest addition to the Independent Psychoanalytic Approaches series edited by Ann Horne and Monica Lanyado and it is a welcome addition to that series. Promoted as an ‘indispensable guide’ for child psychotherapists and a wide range of colleagues working in child and family mental health settings, it provides an excellent, contemporary introduction to the practice of child psychotherapy in all its manifestations. If you're looking for an introduction to child and adolescent psychotherapy, then look no further; this book covers the subject in comprehensive and easy to read detail. How I wish it had been published when I was a Trainee!
