This collection of papers by Alessandra Cavalli, a Jungian-trained analyst, describes her work with children and adults who have been severely traumatised. In these chapters, she examines the theory as she applies it to her clinical work. Although her theoretical frame is somewhat unfamiliar to me as a child and adult psychotherapist trained in the Independent tradition, it has been interesting to explore these differing concepts in the familiar context of psychotherapeutic work.
