It is a great pleasure to announce that Eva Chaska Uchitel Tesch is the winner of the 2022 New Writer Prize. She is a psychology graduate based in Brazil, who also has a Master's degree in sports management from the University of Porto, Portugal. For twenty years she coordinated the development of groups in public and private institutions, notably in connection with sports, bringing a psychoanalytic ear to her practice. More recently she has deepened her studies and worked as a couple and family therapist. Her winning paper is titled “What “family’ is this? Link, bonds, and intersubjectivity in online family therapy” and appears in the forthcoming issue of the journal.

Students and qualified clinicians, who have not previously published an article, chapter, or book in the field of couple and family psychotherapy, are invited to submit original papers on theoretical, clinical, or research aspects of psychoanalytically informed work with couples and families. Entries are judged by a panel of senior clinicians on their clinical and theoretical merit, with particular attention being paid to their innovative qualities and capacity to advance thinking and practice in the field.
