On May 4, 2003, our community lost a valued colleague. Dr. Lieba Lesk was the first female candidate to train at the Toronto Psychoanalytic Institute and the only woman in her class. She inspired the women who followed, not only by paving the way for many of them, but by always speaking up and making sure that a woman's voice and perspective was heard.
