It is with profound regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Lester, the founding editor-in-chief of the CJP/RCP. She was editor-in-chief from the journal's inception in 1993 until her retirement in 2002. Eva Lester was an outstanding Canadian psychoanalyst who enjoyed international renown as a psychoanalytic scholar. She died at her home in Montreal on 10 October after a long illness. The CJP/RCP will publish a full obituary in its forthcoming issue.

C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Dr Eva Lester, la fondatrice et rédactrice en chef de RCP/CJP. Elle a occupé ces fonctions du début de la Revue en 1993 jusqu'à sa retraite en 2002. Eva Lester a été une psychanalyste canadienne remarquable, de renommée internationale à titre d'érudit en psychanalyse. Elle est décédée à son domicile de Montréal, le 10 octobre, des suites d'une longue maladie. La RCP/CJP fera paraître un article nécrologique complet dans son prochain numéro.
