ELISABETH BANON is an assistant professor of psychiatry, McGill University, and SMBD Jewish General Hospital. She obtained a fellowship in psychotherapy research in 1997 at McGill University. She is responsible for implementing the “research arm” of the Henry Kravitz Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Clinic at the JGH. Dr. Banon is a psychoanalyst and member of the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society and the International Psychoanalytical Association. Her research interests and academic publications (10 in total) include psychotherapy process and outcome in subjects with depression and/or personality disorders, including the study of therapist technique, the study of psychological risk factors in depression, and the impact of transference patterns on process and outcome.

BERNADETTE FERRERO MADIGNIER exerce à Lyon (France). Elle est psychologue, psychanalyste, et membre de l'Association psychanalytique de France. Elle a publié récemment dans la revue Le coq Héron, dans la Revue canadienne de psychanalyse, et dans la Revue française de psychanalyse. Elle a participé à l'écriture de deux ouvrages collectifs : Des psychanalystes en séance. Glossaire clinique de psychanalyse contemporaine, Gallimard, Paris, 2016 (sous la direction de L. Danon-Boileau et J.-Y. Tamet) et Incertitudes en Psychanalyse, Fario, 2021 (sous la direction de J.-Y. Tamet).
DANIEL FRANK is a psychoanalyst and member of the Canadian and International Psychoanalytic Societies. He is a member of the teaching faculty of the Quebec English Branch of the Canadian Psychoanalytic Society. He specializes in the literature on the process and outcome of
