I did not feel I would be justified in dissecting Dr. McCartney in my article. However, I cannot but agree that he presents himself as hardworking, above and beyond the call of duty. In all fairness to McCartney, he did state in the article quoted that male patients who needed "overt transference" treatment were transferred to a therapist of the appropriate sex because homosexual behavior "is immature, neurotic and adolescent."— C.C.D.
