In the eulogy to Max Deutscher by J. Schimel (This Journal, 17: 2, 156–157) the last statement as to the members of his family surviving him was incomplete. Surviving Dr. Deutscher are Susan, his wife, daughters Lisa and Maria, his mother Sarah, and his sisters Lucy Manoff, Martha Deutscher and Sylvia Kushner.
