In Jarl Dyrud's paper (1984) "Sartre and psychoanalysis, " This Journal, 20:230–244, the author inadvertently omitted a reference that should be noted. On pages 239 and 242 of the article a reference to the then unpublished research of S. L. Charmé should have been made. This work was subsequently published as Meaning and Myth in the Study of Lives, 1984, Philadelphia: University of Pennsylvania Press. Similar thematic material in Dyrud's article on pages 239 and 242 is discussed on pages 87 and 72 respectively in Dr. Charmé's volume.
