This is a discussion of Collisions in the Dark: Invisible Intersectionality and the Black Female Psychoanalyst by Michelle Ann Stephens. Stephens’ article focuses on what Black feminism contributes to clinical psychoanalysis and I demonstrate the importance of her work by way of my own reading experience.
