Francesca my darling,
I have just got back from the group so I shall try to dash off a short note to you. I found the discussion interesting and I am pleased to say that although I found myself handicapped by my lack of reading which is always my weak point I made up for by my ability not to lose sight of the wood for the trees. And again I think my contribution licked the discussion into shape and gave it a meaning and coherence which it had not before. There is great pleasure to be had in a group which so quickly grasps one's point and seems so ready to acknowledge the value of the contribution. Very egotistical perhaps but I confess that it pleases me.
I have just remembered that I shall be free on Saturday morning as I need not go up to Town till late – Melanie is off work. It will probably be a good thing if I put in some work here arranging for the house to be sold or at least tidied ready for sale.
